Privacy notice

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Dragon Deployables Limited uses personal information to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, supply products and services, and provide customer support. This notice also explains how the Dragon website and Dragon AI Helper handle information.

Who we are

Dragon Deployables Limited (company number 15605140) is the data controller. Our registered office is 23 Parc Yr Onnen, Llanfair Caereinion, Welshpool, Powys, Wales, SY21 0BF. You can contact us at [email protected] or through our Contact Us page.

Information we collect

When you send an enquiry, we may collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, site postcode and type, hire or purchase preference, quantity, required date and duration, power and connectivity information, monitoring requirements, and anything else you include in your message. Please do not include special-category or other sensitive personal information in the AI Helper.

The AI Helper also processes the questions you type, its answers, technical request information needed for security, and a short-lived random session identifier. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and device signals needed to distinguish people from automated traffic; it does not receive the contents of the enquiry form from Dragon Deployables.

The website may also collect device, browser, IP address, page-view and interaction information through Squarespace, Cloudflare and Google Analytics, subject to the site's cookie controls.

How and why we use information

We use personal information to respond to requests, understand site requirements, prepare and follow up quotations, provide products and services, prevent abuse, maintain service reliability, understand website performance and keep appropriate business records. The AI Helper offers general guidance, but configurations, availability, prices, delivery, runtime and monitoring arrangements are referred for human review and confirmation in writing. We do not treat an enquiry as consent to marketing.

Our usual legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in answering genuine enquiries, operating and protecting the service, improving the website and keeping appropriate business records. Where consent is required for non-essential cookies or marketing, you can withdraw it at any time.

Service providers and international processing

We use Squarespace to host the website and forms; Cloudflare to provide website security, the enquiry service, database and Turnstile bot protection; OpenAI to generate free-text AI Helper answers; Resend to deliver enquiry alerts to the Dragon Deployables team; and Google Analytics to measure website use where permitted by the site's cookie controls.

Free-text questions sent to OpenAI use API response storage disabled. Enquiry alert emails contain the details supplied in the enquiry so our team can respond. These providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on the provider's appropriate contractual or other legal safeguards for international transfers. Their privacy information explains their processing in more detail: Cloudflare, OpenAI, Resend, Squarespace, and Google.

Retention and security

AI Helper enquiry records are normally retained for up to 365 days, then deleted automatically, unless they need to be kept longer for a quotation, order, dispute, legal obligation or another documented business need. AI Helper sessions expire after one hour and abuse-control records are short-lived. Website-form records, emails, security logs and provider backups are kept only for as long as needed for their purpose, subject to legal, contractual and operational requirements.

We use access controls, encrypted secrets, origin restrictions, rate limits, bot checks and separation between business records. No internet service is completely risk-free. You can use the ordinary Contact Us form, email or telephone if you prefer not to use the AI Helper.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or portability of your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

To make a request or object to processing, email [email protected] and give enough detail for us to locate the relevant record. We may update this notice when the service or its providers change; the date above shows the latest version.
