The compact Dragon option
Viper. Alerts with photos.
Viper is an intrusion alarm with alarm photographs and a siren. It can suit discrete entrances, assets or compounds when a customer needs alert-led security rather than continuous video.
Need live or recorded CCTV? Viper’s PIR photo-verification detectors do not provide it. Explore an integrated Raptor instead.

How the described system works
Detect. Verify. Decide.
Keep the three jobs distinct. Viper is not a camera tower watching a continuous scene.
Intrusion event
Ajax PIR detectors respond to a configured alarm condition. Detector positions and coverage need assessing against the actual site.
Alarm photographs
Photographs associated with an alarm can help an authorised user understand what triggered it, subject to the detector variant and setup.
Alerts and siren
App access and notification methods depend on permissions, connectivity and configuration. Professional monitoring is a separate service, not implied by app access.
Choose by outcome
Viper or Raptor?
Viper when alerts are enough
Consider Viper for compact intrusion detection, alarm photographs and a siren at assessed priority points.
Raptor when video matters
For live remote viewing, continuous or scheduled recording, PTZ operation or detailed video evidence, discuss an integrated Raptor camera system.

What the quotation needs to settle.
- ConnectivityThe published Ajax Hub 2 4G configuration supports Ethernet and two SIM slots; supplied SIMs, data and working signal must be specified.
- PowerSolar and battery equipment may be configured, but operating autonomy depends on load, location, season and servicing. No indefinite runtime is implied.
- Access and monitoringAuthorised customer app access and any professional monitoring are distinct. Notification channels, provider, response and fees need confirming.
- Commercial termsFinal equipment, purchase/hire availability, recurring charges, delivery and support are confirmed in the written quotation.
Start with the risk
Tell us what needs protecting.
A postcode, priority areas, power situation and whether photographs or live video are needed are enough to begin a useful recommendation.
